We had an amazing experience with Mark! We planned our Manitoba wedding from the Yukon and Mark was very accommodating and his great communication made things easy for us. We only met Mark in person 1 week before the wedding and he made sure to squeeze in our engagement session which included a 10 km bike ride to our location. This proves he will do whatever it takes to “get the shot” and it made us comfortable with him by the time our wedding day rolled around. On our wedding day, he had great ideas, he was very easy going which made things relaxing, and he was always early and so fun to be around. Based on reviewing Mark’s photos my husband and I were certain we wanted to have him do our engagement and wedding photography. It is easy to see that Mark is extremely talented but what you may not know is the effort he puts forth aside from just the photography. He went above and beyond for us. When you have a once in a lifetime celebration, like the marriage of two people, every moment leaves no second chance. There isn’t going to be another walk down the aisle or a second bouquet toss. You need a photographer you can trust to capture all of the memories you’ll want to look back on years later. We can confidently say Mark not only exceeded our expectations but went beyond what anyone could reasonably expect in a photographer, finding ways to get the perfect shot in every condition.
In fact, one of our favorite pictures from our wedding day is a perfect example of his dedication to getting the shot. We were walking up a tall wooden stairway leading through the forested area from the shores of Clear Lake when Mark hopped over the railing and turned back to capture a photo no one else could have. Mark was always very easy to talk to and because we are not professional photographers, he took the lead during the times we planned to take photos, however, his style never felt forced, or out of place, it all felt very natural.
Having taken many photos in the area, Mark was well prepared and took us to the best locations for our engagement and wedding photos. Our friends and family thought they were absolutely beautiful! If you are looking for the perfect photographer, the one who you can be sure of in each and every moment, the one who will relieve you of every worry so that you can be 100% focused on your day, then look no further, the search is over.

We have never had professional photos done before and do not like being in front of a camera, especially while being affectionate, so we were pretty nervous. However, within the first few minutes of our photo shoot, our nerves subsided. Mark eased us into it with some casual walking shots and got us laughing right away. Before we knew it, we were having a blast! Mark made us feel so comfortable in such an uncomfortable situation for us. None of the shots felt over posed we just felt really natural and relaxed. Mark listened to our opinions and requests and didn’t make us feel rushed, even during our laughing fits, he just laughed along with us.
Mark took us to multiple locations which we were pleasantly surprised by, as it gave us such a variety of beautiful backdrops. I should add that we were absolutely blown away by the photos. The pictures truly encompassed the nature of our relationship. I didn’t even think that was possible. We have had so many compliments on the pictures. We are so grateful, not only for the outcome of our beautiful pictures but for the wonderful experience. We cannot wait for you to shoot our wedding in Jamaica! (and to have more pictures to hang on our walls!!)
